Pioneer Center for Human Services serve more than 670 adult men and women with developmental challenges through residential services, community-based services, day programs, employment assistance, and recreational activities. Our services are offered throughout McHenry County, Illinois by a staff of over 200 dedicated professionals who love what they do and care for our clients like family.

Services are based on the unique needs of every individual. They range from overall coaching to more intensive levels of support that help clients experience their goals and dreams and to achieve their full potential

Through an exceptional level of caring and compassion, we continually strive to protect and promote the rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. We touch every aspect of life in the community by sharing our knowledge. We continually conduct training and events to connect members of the community and support our efforts to broaden inclusion.
