Welcome New Board Member Chris Hillman

Pioneer Center announces the appointment of new Board Member Chris Hillman. Chris is the President of SPI of Chicago, Inc., a nationally ranked Executive Search firm based in Crystal Lake, IL. Chris brings 26 years of Business Development and Human Resource Consulting experience to our Board of Directors.

“I believe contribution is a big part of one’s responsibilities in life and contributing to Pioneer Center is helping in three very important areas, developmental disabilities, behavioral health and homelessness,” explains Hillman.

Chris has previously been active in Big Brothers Big Sisters of McHenry County and served on the Board at Home of the Sparrow for two terms.

Hillman adds, “I want to dedicate my time, effort and abilities to more than just financial contributions. Through my expertise, I can help with staffing, financial advice and fundraising.”

Chris has been a resident of McHenry County for 26 years and currently resides in Crystal Lake, IL with his two children. He is an outdoor enthusiast and enjoys fishing, doing water sports on the Fox River and spending time in nature.
