Welcome New Board Member Douglas P. Martin

Pioneer Center announces the appointment of new Board Member Douglas (Doug) P. Martin, Director of Economic Development with the City of McHenry. With over 27 years of experience in local government, Douglas provides our Board of Directors with in-depth knowledge of the public sector and many years forming connections throughout our county.

Doug explains, “I am very passionate about the importance of building and maintaining strong communities. My family has been touched deeply by the needs addressed by Pioneer Center and I am committed to helping others.”

Doug resides in McHenry, IL with his wife Cheri whom he met at a wedding in Kenosha, WI and they have three kids. He enjoys attending plays with his wife and is a member of the McHenry Kiwanis Club and volunteers his time in sports and helping others.
